2019 WATTY AWARD WINNER | TO BE PUBLISHED BY 'W BY WATTPAD' IN FALL 2024 Jessie is a twenty first century kinda gal stuck in the Regency Era. Armed with a new university degree and a plane ticket to Paris, the plan was to celebrate graduation in the City of Love, kissing as many drunk French girls (or boys, she's not picky) as she can. Only, she never makes it. Mid-Atlantic, a mysterious accident sends Jessie hurtling to what should be a watery grave. Rescued from the ocean, Jessie is lucky to be alive. Only problem? The crew of the ship she's on is convinced it's a sailing vessel that just narrowly missed out on participating in the Battle of Trafalgar. Stuck in Regency-era England, Jessie is left with no choice but to enter into the services of as a maid and companion in return for what shelter her new employer can provide, and resign herself to a life of quiet servitude and forever hiding her sexuality. What she didn't count on was that her new boss would be Margaret Goodenough - the world famous authoress whose yet-to-be-completed novel was the first lesbian kiss in the history of British Literature, and a clever woman. Clever enough to know her new servant has a secret. Now Jessie is caught. Margaret's own perception of her place in society is transforming, the text of her novel is slowly changing, and Margaret herself is finally unafraid to embrace her own Sapphic desires. Margaret - and her main characters - are turning into irresistibly headstrong and modern women. Jessie must tread the tenuous line between finding her own happiness in a world where she is alone, and accidentally changing the course of history. Should Jessie suppress the manuscript, or is her duty to the woman she's learning to love? What is a twenty first century gal to do? * Cover Photo: Jenn LeBlanc & Getty Images Original Cover by: @RodneyVSmith

a simple story whereas the love between the main character and the reader is trapped within the pages. this poetry is gonna be one book, how it starts is basically giving you a little insight on the love the main character feels for you, the reader. some of the quotes are not mine, but by myself i put them together and make it into a story. it's supposed to sound as if someone wrote it specifically for you! i hope you enjoy it, it would mean so much to me if you guys would leave your thoughts in the comments to give me motivation to actually finish it lol, though i will either way. credit to everyones quotes I've used. {book cover in the making}

" W-what are y-you we-wea-ring?" Luca's deep trembling voice made me smirk. I looked down at the baby pink lace bra and matching panties that adorned my body. Luca's gaze was stuck to my chest at then it tavelled downwards. "Are you done staring?" I asked, my voice low and husky. The bag in his right hand dropped as he looked away , blushing madly. The blush that tainted his cheeks made me all the more turned on. Fuck. I slowly, made my way towards him and placed my hands on his chest. His eyes followed my every action. "Eleoner..." He whispered hoarsely, making me cream my panties. "Don't worry, baby. I'll make it go away..." I trailed off, biting his earlobe seductively. _____________________________________ When Eleoner was sent to military school at the tender age of sixteen by her gold digging whore of a mother, instead of improving herself, she turned worse. She drank , played around, swore like a sailor etc. She was the kind of girl your parents warned you not to hang out with. Tired of her careless mother and her innumerable man sluts, Eleoner decides to move out. When she decided to move to New York to study in NYU, the least she expected was sharing an apartment with another guy, Luca Marino. Luca is the boy your parents encourage you to hang out with because he is a complete nerd. He surrounds himself with books only. El was always into the hot bad boys in her hometown but this Italian nerd has her fantasizing. She will not stop until she has him in her bed. But along with Luca comes drama. Will El be strong enough for the heartbreak to come? Will she continue being the bad bitch or will Luca tame her? **************************************** Guys, this book is for mature audiences as it contains Sexual content (shitload of that) , swearing, etc..... So please , 18+ readers only. If ya nasty and you're not 18, try not to go ahead. But if you do, don't sue me for destroying your innocent soul. I warned you.
