This fanfic begins in the early days of being trapped in the killing game, it's an unlikely place but romance can somehow manage to form anywhere no matter how complex it is. Kaede and Shuichi are able to figure out their emotions and deal with events in the process. Note: Only the storyline belongs to me, the cover and overall characters/game belong to separate creators <3

After surviving the V3 killing game, Shuichi, Maki, and Himiko wake up to a place they haven't seen before...and are treated to a hopeful surprise, but even after their wonderful surprise, it seems as though the killing game isn't over just yet...

In this story, Kaede never dies. Nobody dies and they are just stuck in the killing game. This is a romance between Kaede and Shuichi. Read and watch it blossom into something beautiful as they learn from each other, have fun times with each other and the rest of the 16, and grow with each other. (SPOILERS) After the despair-filled killing game came to an end and the 3 survivors Maki, Shuichi, and Himiko escaped the Academy For Gifted Juveniles, they realized Monokuma was lying about the outside world. It was still intact and full of people. But what happens when Shuichi meets someone unexpected?
