Just a few thoughts in my brain right now!

This is a story/poem about some late night when I was somewhere between ages 9 and 11. Anyway, this event happened when I was taken off an anxiety pill and during the night I ended up getting really anxious and waving my flashlight around the room for almost all hours of the night scared that some murderous human or animal would come out of the shadows and devour my soul as I sleep. There is also many metaphors to my mental health state at the time I was taken off the pill. In all honesty, I did this as part of a school assignment but now I'm deciding to post it online.
