A Gate opens up in Times Square, right in the middle of a war-torn world and a war-torn America. Having suffered nearly 3 decades of war, the American people will not stand for it, and they want revenge, nuclear or not. However, a massive Megacorporation seems to have other plans for the new world.

The "Humans" have been overrun by unusual "Beasts," and wiped out. Save for Willem, a young man who has woken up from a few hundred-year-old sleep. Only the "Carillons," and the Fairy Soldiers who wield them, can defeat the "Beasts" in the "Humans'" place. After the battle, the "Carillons" are reused, but the Fairy Soldiers who have exhausted their strength dies. "At the very least, I don't want to disappear. I want to be kept alive in someone's heart. Just to be connected.... Tell me what's wrong with that!?" The Fairy Girls who are determined that they are going to die and the young Instructor, spend their transient yet shining days together .
