Puddle portals. Who knew right? I certainly didn't before that fateful day I fell into one. But I soon found that falling through a puddle was the least of my concerns. Two nations at war with each other. Technically. But the surface truth was that one of them had been captured and forced to slave away under the other. One held the upper hand, had for years. So when I fell right into the thick of the coming revolution, I quickly realized that I had to choose my side, and quickly, before both nations spit me out of the kingdom forever; no sitting on the fence in this story. As far as I knew, there was no way of getting home. I could only hope that I might help the slave nation in return for a ticket back up the puddle. I had expected sacrifice, fighting, and hopefully victory. But what I came face to face with was a different story entirely...
