Determined to find out if the scrolls indeed hold the promise of a Scourge-free future, Klara requires aid in deciphering them. Only one person can help - the very individual her mother mentioned. The dilemma is heightened when she discovers the 'secret' impacts the elven hunter, Araellor.

Citizens assume normal duties and politics continue, just like everything once was. Zearria Bloodblade however, disagrees. Still grieving and recovering from an injury, life is nothing more then a boring glimpse of what used to be, hundreds of head ago. The assassin without a partner or friend, and a few missing nerves is stuck in a time where killing isn't as easy to do without consequence, but it never stopped her. But getting back in the game, she finds that it hasn't stopped everyone. While it's champions are away, dark forces are starting to arise. Determined to lose no one else and stay out of the spotlight, Zearria does what she does what she does best- Spill Blood in the shadows.
