Hunter was a young, spunky boy. He was brought up well, had extremely nice parents, and he was living his life. That was until when he was 8, he spilled his biggest secret. His parents abused, beat up and eventually abandoned him at the start of December in 2015. Hunter spent every night admiring the lights of Broadway. Every night he sat outside a different theatre hoping that once, just once, someone would notice him. Chris Jackson was performing eight times a week on Broadway in the smash hit Hamilton, at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Every evening he walks down the street past the theatres, when one figure becomes a familiar sight. A familiar person waiting at a different theatre every evening. And every evening, he smiles and waves, wishing that he could help, but knowing that he had to get home to his wife. But when Chris finally spots this little boy outside his own theatre, he finally finds the courage to stop and listen. -Becky and Cori

Have you ever wondered what happens when the couple who adopted you, were actually your grandparents? That's exactly what happened to young Carly. Her mother, Amber, was adopted at birth. And Amber's birth mother was none other than Mandy Gonzalez. Being a young actress Mandy couldn't care for her daughter so put her up for adoption. Almost 18 years later (2018) and Mandy is staring in the smash Broadway hit Hamilton and was looking to adopt a 'third' child after having her daughter Maribelle in 2012. Amber, now a junior in High School, is now 17 and finds herself pregnant after a party where she ended up having her drink spiked and lost all sense of what was happening. She was raped by one of her classmates, but no one knows who. Knowing she can't care for the child, but also knowing that she can't bring herself to have an abortion, immediately puts her unborn daughter up for adoption. You can see where this is going. Mandy chooses to adopt Carly at birth, wanting to help the 17 year old out, not knowing that the 17 year old was her own daughter from 2000. (Okay, I have no idea what is going to happen to this story, how it's going to be written, but I had an idea and I wrote it. The description kinda shows a section part way though the book, read the prologue and it may make sense.) -Becky

Mandy Gonzalez (27) has been dating her boyfriend and fellow costar Chris Jackson (30) for two years by the time off-broadway rehearsals to begin for their show, in which they play one another's love interests(Nina and Benny), called In The Heights. The couple met during a 2004 reading of the same show. Karen Olivo (29) has been in a long term relationship of 4 years with her boyfriend when she joins the In The Heights family as the second lead female, Vanessa. But when the show opens at 37 Arts, both girls begin to feel something they have never felt before. -Becky

Nina Rosario, 19, arrives home after her first year of being away from her family and the people she grew up with in Washington Heights, New York. She had been at Stanford University in California when things started tumbling down. The only safe place for her was the fire escape of her parents apartment back home. Her older brother, Lincoln, 24, works for her father as well as one of her closest friends Benny, 24, who she's had a crush on since she was 13. However she didn't think it was socially acceptable to date your older brothers best friend. The close knit community of the 181st street and Fort Washington Ave corner was something Nina always loved. And she hoped that coming home to her friends and family would make her situation a lot easier. ~~~~~ This is an in The Heights Fan Fiction based on the 2008 Tony winning Musical. This story is centred around Nina Rosario and her troubles and relationships with the other people of the barrio. I'm incorporating all the aspects of the show including Cut songs from workshops (My Fire Escape) and Off-Broadway (Hear Me Out). Ninas brother, Lincoln, who is best friends with Usnavi and Benny. The rest of the characters are the same age and relationships in the Original Broadway Production. (The sequel to Wanting You) Mandy and Chris are living happily together, married, in their new home in Washington Heights. They have their infant daughter, Kayla Veronica, and Douglas, Chris's son from his first marriage. Everything is perfect, Mandy finds herself in another smash hit broadway musical, as does Chris. This call for one thing, a sitter to watch the kids. Their trusted sitter, Lexi, leaves the city for collage causing havoc as the couple have to put their kids under someone else's watch. In comes Sasha and not everything is quite as it seems. -Becky
