A summer has come and gone since Voldemort was defeated. Hogwarts has been rebuilt. The Golden Trio return to Hogwarts to complete their education. They can all finally lead a normal life. But for Hermione, life is anything but normal. While Harry and Ginny were still going strong, her relationship with Ron hadn't lasted long. Harry knows that things didn't work out with Ron and Hermione. But little does he know that he's the reason why.

Harry and Ron both proposed to their girlfriends on the same night, and fortunately, they both said yes. Harry was to marry Ginny, and Ron was to marry Hermione, both on September first. They figured, since it was the day they were all brought together, why not celebrate their double wedding on the same day? But, rumor of a strong centaur clan in the magic filled woods behind Godric's Hallow sweeps over them, and as Aurors, it is the trio's duty to check and make sure everything is alright. Ginny and Ron, both positive that everything is alright, decide to stay back on this mission, leaving Harry and Hermione to do it. Will something terrible happen to the pair while they're out? Or will something wonderful spark between them?

After the demise of Voldemort, everything is back to normal, all except for Harry Potter. His dreams and thoughts torment him from his past decisions. Spending another year at Hogwarts would drive him mad. Ron and Hermione decide to side with Harry and not return. As things get between The Golden Trio, Ron parts ways with them, leaving Harry and Hermione to console one another. Affection rises between Harry and Hermione. Will they be able to fight for each other against the hate of others? Or will they succumb to it? There are mature scenes throughout this story like violence and strong language. If you are not comfortable with reading stories that include these, please do not read. I do not own the characters, their rights go to J.K Rowling.
