The sunshine teen worked a morning job, the school supported him, and with every impressive spike the school gave him ¥500.00. Every game they won was double that. The school was giving him money to play volleyball and support his sister. No one knew. No one was supposed to ever find out. It was a secret he swore he'd take to his grave.
