It is near graduation for Hachiman Hikigaya, Yukino Yukinoshita, and Yui Yuigahama. As they become young adults, they would need to pursue a career for the workforce. But in order to pursue their career, they would have to find a starter job to pay for their education, tuition, and loans. After many failed interview attempts and getting a job, Hachiman is left wandering to his next interview. But a suspicious man persuades him to deliver items to someone for a quick cash. Hachiman's curiosity was overwhelmingly stronger than his will and he decided to check what the box contained. That was when he was let into a dangerously life-threatening situation. Minutes after experiencing what it feels like to have a gun pointed at your head, he is miraculously saved by multiple anonymous people who seemed to be 'experienced' at their jobs. He was inspired by those people who also risked their lives to save others. Natsuki and Yuri always fight, despite both always wishing it was different. One day changes it all when Natsuki decides to step up for her purple haired friend and eventually become more than friends. Natsuki is a member of the literature club and now officially a second year in highschool. Even if it seems the other way around sometimes, she's always eager for club time because it is there where she can see the person that causes butterflies in her stomach, only this time she plans to do more than just watch.

Yuri once thought joining the literature club would be the best thing that happened to her, but after meeting one of their members whom she'd develop a bizarre rivalry with, she starts considering that old thought a big mistake. However, at the very start of her third year at school, a series of events change her world in a rather drastic way.

The two stood there for a while. Staring at her was the girl Monika never thought she'd ever see again. The girl she once bullied and humiliated so many times during middle school. What was she supposed to say?

Natsuki and Yuri were childhood friends. Natsuki fell in love once. She had been so young, it had become a distant memory. Part of her began to believe her mind had made it up to distract her from Papa. Yuri fell in love once. Her heart had shattered into a million pieces, and she closed off her heart. After years of keeping herself hidden, she finds herself unable to fall in love. She hides her true self behind deep insecurities and a false sense of perfection. Love began to fade away for her. When the two meet again, after years of being apart, they realize that one of them had changed so drastically, their bond might have broken in the process. Will their story end here, with no future, or is their story more than the past?
