But he's afraid of what he might think of him when he finds out he is a troll. What they don't know, is that they know each other both online and in high school. When your born you see no colour, but when you first touch your soulmate you see every colour under the sun. If your soulmate dies your world turns black and white once again. Sam saw colour twice but lost it. John saw it once and lost it. Dean has never seen colour, he's lived in black and white since the day he was born. It was the same for Castiel. Until he raised the righteous man from Perdition. Dean never understood why he could see colour when he came back from Hell, but never questioned it. Until Castiel died for the first time and his world lost every drop of colour.

Ten years old, that's when it's decided, at midnight the minute you turned ten, a name appears on your right wrist. For Castiel and Dean neither knew wether they would meet their soulmate. Castiel hid his and Dean was ashamed of his. Dean has a secret, he can't get close to anybody in fear of them dying, because the monsters are always there, and they hurt everybody he loves. Castiel doesn't know monsters exist, he refuses to believe they exist, demons, vampires and werewolves, they're all stories, until he's proven wrong, he will alway believe that.
