I do not own The Hobbit or LOTR. The Hobbit is what I based this story off of. A Thorin Oakenshield x OC you might really enjoy like I do, and I wrote the story! I decided this description needed a rewrite: Fiery, stubborn, prideful, daring. I am all of those names, always have been. I never back down from a challenge, never turn away from my choice. I am determined to find my home. And, one day, I know I will. I just never thought a handsome, stubborn, irritating, stoic, and annoying dwarf king would step in my way and tip me off that path I was determined to stay on. I never thought he would take my hand, and guide me down a much better path than I ever imagined. Check out the Sequel on my page, A Ruby's Glow. Hartlyn Black never woke from the Death Curse. Instead, waking in another world, all alone. So lonely, that Death had offered her a companion. A guard. A lover. Jon Snow was never resurrected from his fatal wounds. Instead, he was stolen away, meeting a cloaked figure then finding himself before a strange yet beautiful woman with flame-coloured hair and hypnotizing green eyes. Hartlyn stared down at the handsome black-haired man with the darkest brown eyes she'd ever seen, curious to who he was and how he had a direwolf by his side, it having the fur that could rival the colour of freshly fallen snow, eyes akin to blood. Jon watched her warily, not knowing who she was or where he was and amazed to see a midnight black direwolf behind her, its eyes bluer than the sky. :3 Gandalf the Grey had heard of two legendary warriors in a castle, living high on the North Mountains. Two strange, yet powerful beings that perhaps would accompany himself, twelve dwarves and a hobbit as protectors. Who knows of the dangers that await them? But will the King of the North and the Mistress of Death leave their mountain to help others regain theirs? Book 1 of The Northerners.

The time has come. Erebor still lies within the Lonely Mountain, and Smaug has not been sighted for years. The regal line of Durin must reclaim their homeland once more. But, when Gandalf the Grey tasks Ravonna the White, the greatest sorceress of Middle Earth, to join the Company, she faces many great obstacles that she never wished to encounter again. Finding love with Thorin Oakenshield was never her plan, but that was not the only surprise her fate had in store. Darkness had once again found a way to creep into and to corrupt her heart, but will Ravonna be able to banish it? Will she be successful in saving the line of Durin- or will she fail? This is a Fanfiction following the adventures of Thorin Oakenshield in J.R.R. Tolkien's novel, the Hobbit. DISCLAIMERS: 1. I do not own any of the characters besides from Ravonna. Aside from the main storyline, any other scenes or events are my own. All other rights go to J. R. R. Tolkien and Peter Jackson for the original works, the movies and novel of the Hobbit. I also do not own this image, credits go to it's rightful owner. 2. There are TONS of mistakes and plot errors in this book. PLEASE keep in mind that I started and finished this when I was only ELEVEN YEARS OLD. Because this was the first thing I ever wrote, know that this is not a representation of my best work (if you do want to another Thorin fanfic from me, check out Rue, now online). I don't mind criticism, but please be patient and enjoy the story for the substance, not necessarily the accuracy :) Sending much love to all of my fellow Tolkienites and thank you for all of your support so far! I hope you enjoy this story!

"I have not had dealings with dwarves or anyone in too many years than I care to remember, I never want to either, I'm not ready- the world never will be ready for me" "The world may not be ready for you, but without you, I fear the darkness will return," *Warning, this is based on the films and books but not all facts are correct but I have tried my best* Elfreda Durnhelm has come out of hiding to follow and protect the company of dwarves and a hobbit in their quest to reclaim their homeland. She was only meant to be a shadow, nothing but blur to get her back in society after many years in exile. But plans never go smoothly and the dwarves spot a 'fairy' lurking in the shadows. The characters besides Elfreda do not belong to me, they are the rights of J.R.R Tolkien and the film makers.

"Wisteria Greenleaf at your service." I bowed at the halfling. He gulped, "I never knew an elf was to come to my home." "Neither did I." I whispered as I walked inside only to see a large group of dwarves sitting in the dining room. My teeth ground together as I saw the leader, Thorin Oakenshield. Wisteria is an elf but of a rare breed. She is the daughter of the king of Mirkwood yes, but she is more powerful than even him. Her mother gave to her the rare and precious gift of skin-changing before she died. Most of the time she is an elf, but when she changes, she is a lion, a wolf, and even a blue fire-breathing dragon. I don't own The Hobbit characters or the story plot itself. I only own Wisteria as a character.
