This story is an ongoing YA novel writing project based on Philippine mythology. Nico Zamora, the main protagonist, discovers that his father is a member of a secret organization that protects mythological creatures in the world known as "cryptids" from an unknown force that corrupts them. The story will offer a new perspective in Philippine mythology that doesn't just stop on the popular horror tales and will give spotlight more on the magnificent beasts that live across the archipelago.

Francisco " Balagtas" Baltazar, a known filipino writer from the 1800s, created a world of his own - In an epic known as "Florante at Laura". Aside from educational purposes, the epic has not been widely explored and used. I intend to take my chances. Using characters of my own and the original ones i created and carefully placed a vast storyline, descriptive scenes and battles, and plots that occationaly twist and turn. I changed some names of the provinces in Balagtas' world, but i do not wish to eradicate the personallity of his epic, but wish to build upon it as a foundation. Ps. Expect a few characters from "Florante at Laura" to show up ;)
