Kirahki Freecss is Gon's sister. Mito-san adopted her when she was just a baby. The only clue she has about her birth family is the fact that her eyes turn a brilliant shade of red whenever she feels intense emotion. Wanting to know more about where she comes from, Kira decides that becoming a Hunter could help her find the answers she seeks. She recently left Whale Island to try to find any information that could lead her to her birth family, promising to meetup with Gon at the Hunter's exam site. During the Hunter Qualification Exam, she meets the ex-assassin Killua, Kurapika the last surviving member of the Kurta Clan, and Leorio a simple guy who aspires to become a doctor.
