Naruto has 2 siblings, Kinato and Natsumi. For his entire childhood, he was ignored and neglected by his parents, as his siblings were thought to be higher priority because they were jinchuriki. Naruto tries to build a relationship with his family, but they show him no attention. Naruto sees one his only friends die, so he strives to be the most powerful shinobi, so he can protect his friends and family. This eventually leads him to abandon his village to seek out power.
