The loud cheers and screams of my family and friends filled the room as they sang Happy Birthday. I was officially 16. Little did I know how much being 16 would really change my life. I thought 16 meant getting my drivers license, growing a mustache and maybe getting a girlfriend if I was lucky. Never would I have thought that being 16 would lead me to choosing the fate of the world.
