The Odyssey (Greek: Ὀδύσσεια Odýsseia] in Classical Attic) is one of two major ancient Greek epic poems attributed to Homer. It is, in part, a sequel to the Iliad, the other work ascribed to Homer. The Odyssey is fundamental to the modern Western canon, and is the second-oldest extant work of Western literature; the Iliad is the oldest. Scholars believe the Odyssey was composed near the end of the 8th century BC, somewhere in Ionia, the Greek coastal region of Anatolia. The poem mainly focuses on the Greek hero Odysseus (known as Ulysses in Roman myths), king of Ithaca, and his journey home after the fall of Troy. It takes Odysseus ten years to reach Ithaca after the ten-year Trojan War. In his absence, it is assumed Odysseus has died, and his wife Penelope and son Telemachus must deal with a group of unruly suitors, the Mnesteres (Greek: Μνηστῆρες) or Proci, who compete for Penelope's hand in marriage.

The Iliad (sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion or Song of Ilium) is an ancient Greek epic poem in dactylic hexameter, traditionally attributed to Homer. Set during the Trojan War, the ten-year siege of the city of Troy (Ilium) by a coalition of Greek states, it tells of the battles and events during the weeks of a quarrel between King Agamemnon and the warrior Achilles. The Iliad is paired with something of a sequel, the Odyssey, also attributed to Homer. Along with the Odyssey, the Iliad is among the oldest extant works of Western literature, and its written version is usually dated to around the 8th century BC. Recent statistical modelling based on language evolution gives a date of 760-710 BC.

Four African-American witches on the run from a Warlock detective, a jilted lover, and a ridiculous super clingy cat named Mister Purr. *** It's Mardi Gras weekend in New Orleans, and instead of celebrating with deep-fried beignets and dancing, Yanni finds herself in a dark alley with her three 'sisters'-staring down at a lifeless body. Shocked and scared, they realize something's off about this death. The body is twisted in a way that's not normal, and Yanni can't shake the feeling that dark magic is involved. With one sister panicking, another making sarcastic comments, and the eldest sister, Aunt BeeBee, trying to stay calm, Yanni's life takes a turn she never expected. The dead man's identity remains a mystery, and the sisters know one thing for sure: they can't let anyone find out. The four of them are witches, each representing one of the four elements, bound by magic and a sisterhood. But when it comes to covering up a murder, will they stick together or fall apart? Yanni's got a big decision to make. Will she go along with Aunt BeeBee's plan to cover it up, or will she risk everything to do what's right? [Watty's 2018 shortlist] Adelyn's quick hands and knack for thievery had a bad habit of putting her in dangerous situations, but forcing her into the path of Nikolai Kors was the worst of them all. A pirate captain with years of death and destruction under his belt, Nikolai has spent ages searching for the one thing that could make every loss, gamble and lie worth it, and Adelyn is the one person who knows where it is. Together, Nikolai and Adelyn must venture the seven seas and battle monsters of every kind. Should they succeed, Adelyn would have enough money to buy herself out of the life of thievery she's been living for years, but Nikolai hasn't been entirely honest with her... because there's a whole lot more than just riches at the end of this game.
