Plot: When Luz Noceda enters the world of the Boiling isles, she is taken under as a witch apprentice by a powerful witch know as Eda. Meanwhile at the same time, the Doctor is on the boiling isles, but he somehow forgot who he is, all he knows is that his name is John Smith and he is a genius at eventing gadgets.. He will meet the owl house crew and together, they will help each other for Luz to become a witch and John/Doctor to know who he really is. She practices her magic in hopes that, one day, it will grant her a release from the drudgery of her day-to-day. She peeks at the humans above the surface of the ocean regularly, mystified yet also confused. Much to both the delight and dismay of her mother, Luz Noceda has been interested in the world under the ocean for as long as she can remember. The dismay part comes in her lack of attention to "practicality," instead focusing on "frivolities" such as the depictions of The Little Mermaid and other sorts of media. A fervent and persistent believer, however, Luz walks the beach one night, and sees something no one even knew existed. She spotted Amity. The cover art was taken from MoonWolfYuki on DeviantArt, with whose permission and aid I am constructing this pet project. All credit for artwork goes to her. This entire fic would not exist without her talents, as she was the primary inspiration. This work is not the official story of the AU depicted in the drawing, but rather an inspired spin-off. This story's update schedule is a wonky kind of nonexistent. The best I can really say is that I despise a break of longer than four days, so those shouldn't be too regular if at all present. It really depends on my other life focuses, notably college. Alas, my apologies I can't give exact expectations for you all.
