On the wet sand beside the seashore, the strong, tall man was laying with a cigarette in his hand. His bike parked a few feet away from him. The environment there was serene and noiseless as no one was allowed then on the beach that he owned. It was not a big deal for a billionaire like him. He had a lot more than that. Wealth, power, the respect he had all of them but lacked the most important thing that couldn't be bought with money. He lacked inner peace. He inhaled the vinous smoke as the corner of his lips twitched in a sad smile. His eyes deceived him being moist and a lone tear slipped down his face on the sand. The sand sucked the water as soon as it fell on it, and he wondered if his pain disappeared in thin air like that. He breathed out a puff of smoke through his nose and mouth. Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?" Miles away from him the girl with a cuddling baby in her arms uttered looking up at the sky, "I express my deep gratitude to You for sending this angel to me, Ya Rab."

She met with her cousin. Khadijah's life turned into a better one, her dream started to come true. And at the same time, her cousin fell in love with her when she had no time for LOVE. ✨ #1 in halallovestory on 10/30/2020 - 11/17/2020 ✨ "Were you ever, going to tell me about it? How can we be the same after all that's happened?" His shoulders relaxed and his features softened. He came towards me, his warm hands cupping my cheeks. It felt like years since I felt his warm hands on me, making me melt to his touch. "Why? Why didn't you tell me? Why did you hide things from me all this time? Wasn't I enough for you? Wasn't my love enough?" I stood there with my head low, not able to meet his eyes anymore as my eyes pooled with fresh tears. He moved back withdrawing his hands and stuffing them in his pockets and sighed. "It's done Momina. It's all over now." He said in a dead voice. I looked back at him, tears rolling down my face. I opened my mouth to speak, to defend myself and my actions, but his unnerving gaze had me shut up. With this, he turned around and left, not bothering to shut the door behind him. "You are stalking me, aren't you?" He said more like a statement than a question. "What! Me stalk you? Oh puh-lease you give yourself way too much credit you know" I replied defensively, in a high pitched voice. Oh God! I am such a terrible liar. Whenever I lie I tend to speak really loud and laugh at everything. And I am doing just that. "You know I'm not oblivious, from class to the cafeteria, and now here. Why are you stalking me?" Seriously dude is that even a question? Like it isn't the most obvious thing on earth. So all along he knew I was stalking him, not like I'll ever admit it to his face. He was looking at me weirdly, i think he is trying to look intimidating. A grin appeared on his face, like he figured something out. "Don't tell me you..." I caught him off, i knew what he was going to say. "Oh no. No no no no no, don't even think that" "You know what I think?" He asked, this time with a smirk. "Whatever you're thinking, get it out of your head 'cause none of it is true" Okay now he's pissing me off. "I think you are stalking me because you like me" Well captain obvious, its high time you noticed. "Get over yourself dude" I said in a bored tone. "Why being so defensive" He was really enjoying this, wasn't he? "You know what? I don't have time for this" I said walking away from him.

When news of Jamilah Abubakr's death reached the world, it shook. How couldn't it? It'd lost one of the gems it had left....A young, cultured philanthropist with as much beauty within, as she had without. The Khalil household was one of the most affected. With both sons, Jamil and Ayman having to deal with the loss of the girl who'd meant the world to them. When, two years later, Jamilah Abubakr resurfaced, her death seemingly a scam by her conniving father, Senator Abubakr, she's taken in by the Khalils. However, things aren't as rosy as they were, and Jamilah has lost a great deal of herself to the accident, mentally. She's unable to remember much of her former life, and is in for a bumpy ride once the rest of the socialite circle - a bunch of politicians and government officials that are out to damage hers and the Khalil's reputation - discover her secret. Yahya Khalil, head of the Khalil household, and an important political figure in the country, plans Jamilah's marriage to his sons for her safety. The question of who to wed is then left; Ayman, her childhood best friend and former crush; or Jamil, the man she'd been close to getting married to. Without Jamilah's memories, without the knowledge of how she'd once felt towards both of them, what does she do? Does she make the decision she'd have years ago, before the accident? Or does she make a different decision this time, ignoring the foreign feelings that grip her whenever she sees him? You want to know who 'Him' is? Want to know what her decision is? Delve into Jamilah's world in 'My baby; My wife'.
