Most impressive rank: 1 - Fairytale *** Casey is all alone in the werewolf world, the only family she has left is her crazy dad. her mum died of cancer, causing her dad to go crazy and start beating Casey. What's worse is that she can't get away from the violence because when she goes to school they do the same. *** I close my eyes so I could listen and smell everything in case this was the last time I would ever be in this beautiful forest. I chase away any bad or worried thoughts because this place seemed so sacred it did not allow them. I breath in and catch the sweet scent of lavender flowers that speckled the ground in little clumps and the dry smell of dirt that hadn't been rained on in a couple of day. I listen to the steady titters of birds as they fly from tree to tree, collecting little twigs and leaves to build their nests with. I listen to the buzz of the bees greedily feasting on the flowers that scattered around the dry forest floor. I open my eyes to take in the scenery, rays of sunlight filter through the green canopy, penetrating through the leaves and casting a green-yellow effulgence over the ground that wavers as the trees rustle in the light whispers of wind. The crunching of dry leaves under my feet alert me so I cast my eyes to the floor and watch as I step on each individual leaf and dry twig, enjoying the snapping sounds that echo through the near silent forest. Gnarly roots dip into ground and twisted branches reach down, fingers grasping the air, as if reaching for me and I shiver, thinking of my father. I cast my eyes up to think of something else and instantly calm as another puff of breeze rustles the leaves on the trees and ground gently. I look ahead and notice the steady thinning of the old trees and run towards it, loving the feeling of the air in my air and clothes. I spot what I think is light dancing on waters surface and sprint for it. Then I break through the trees, making it to the lake.

'I looked out the small window over the sink and saw a creeper dragging it's foot along the grass. I grabbed a long pipe in the corner and walked outside. When it saw me, it tried to come at me faster but was still walking at the same speed it was before, it's mouth biting the air. I walked closer so we were three feet apart. I poked the creeper in the shoulder with the pipe. "That bother you? Well you bother me." I forced the pipe into its eye. It fell to the ground by my feet.' Sequel to Apocalypse, Arizona continues her journey through the world of the zombie apocalypse. Her and Ryan become closer, but have to put their relationship on hold as new problems arise and old foes return, along with new enemies and problems. Will the Virus ever stop claiming victims? Or will Arizona be condemned to this forsaken world for the rest of her life?

Casey was broken, everything was broken, but now she's fixed. At least she thought she was. Casey kept her inner beast hidden knowing it would scare the others. People treat her like royalty, and she hates it, but she isn't the only one who hates it. Things with Carl and her are going fine, until something happens and they change. That leads to her bringing out the beast and everyone was terrified. Now that things have changed after months of peace. Casey is having second thoughts, on everything. "I never asked to be immune! You think I like it, everyone depends on me to be something! We don't even know if I'm a cure or not, or if I am anything. I don't want to be the only immune I want to be nobody! These visions these dreams, they scare me to death, I know when people are going to die, every time I bleed I put everyone in danger. The thing that can't kill me, is the only thing that can kill me when I'm transformed! I don't want to be immune anymore! I'm just a lucky girl, in an unlucky world, trying to survive." She thinks this is the worst it can possibly get, but the Governor is still out there, thirsting for revenge. How will she survive knowing what she had done, to herself, the the group, to Carl. She can never take back what she said. Meanwhile Jude is still out there searching for Casey, the cure. And J is still hiding somewhere in the prison. *THE UNEDITED VERSION* Beware of typos, errors, and general mistakes. This is a very, very rough draft. "I live in a place called Compound 4. We are one of ten different compounds placed at strategic locations around the US. It's been thirteen years since the virus overtook humanity, turning about ninety percent of us into zombies. I'm not sure how it started exactly; that's classified information. I do know that in order to save what was left of the human race, the president at the time took a bunch of really smart people and kids and relocated them into new 'protected' cities. My father was one of those really smart people. I was only five at the time, but I knew what was happening." Within the walls of the compound, Jay makes stupid mistakes, mistakes even she doesn't understand, putting everyone inside at risk. All because she can't shoot someone. All because she misses the wind in her hair, the flowers on the hillsides, the sound of crickets at night. All because she's different, the only person untouchable by the Virus. When the mistakes begin to duplicate, and a girl shows up who knows her name, everything begins to change in Compound 4. Highest rank in Science Fiction: #9

The tornado alarms rang which caused us all to look around at each other in disbelief. It was a cold rainy day, not normal weather for a tornado. I looked around and everyone grabbed a textbook, they were all prepared for a tornado but little did we know, the alarm that went off was warning us for something way worse than what we expected.
