Mordred and Merlin have a decent relationship, Merlin still doesn't trust Mordred fully, but he starts to. Merlin chooses to ignore what the seer told him, figuring that Mordred hasn't done anything yet, and if they become closer maybe he won't. _________ "Morgana," Merlin's voice broke, "I never wanted that to happen." The prince of Camelot has a secret he has yet to reveal and his manservant, Merlin , has the same secret. They can't reveal it until the right time comes. But when is the right time with all the obstacles they're facing. Things get heavy, and all they can do is save one another.

While on a camping trip, Merlin was obviously exhausted as he'd been acting strange all day. As he falls asleep, Gwaine finds a small leather bound journal hidden away in the servants coat, which he soon learns is a journal. He reads a few to himself, then to the Knights. They all soon realize how sad and how seemingly alone Merlin believes he is. They all realize, just how little they know about Merlin. [Hint: The Knights and Arthur learn about Freya!]

I decided to expand on my Methur fanfic, and start their story from the very beginning. Merlin is a young warlock who somehow finds himself as the manservant to the prince of Camelot. At first, he cannot stand his princely employer, but when the two start to spend more time together they realise that there may be a fine line between disgust and desire. © 2014, Chiara Sullivan.
