She waits for Tina to come back and take her away from the horrific atmosphere that is Dallas, Texas. As she waits, she fights the battles she's faced with at her "temporary" home and school.

On a trip to the mountains, Beyoncé finds herself unable to escape the strong pull of emotions she feels whenever fellow Adventure Club member Onika is around. Onika, so sure in her perception of Beyoncé, mistakes every situation between them as some war on her identity.
