Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done. Bakugou is forced to get over his crush on Uraraka after knowing something and now that Himiko Toga is at Yuuei school thanks to a transfer, she falls in love with Izuku Midoriya, who just happens to be the reason Bakugou must give up. Despite their differences, they see similarities pretend to date so Bakugou can get over his feelings and so Toga can learn more about her one true love. But how will she take it if she learns that Deku can never love her back? Jirou's self consciousness is affecting her, causing her to hate herself more and act slightly different. She does her best to hide all this and act normally but the thoughts won't stop. Kaminari notices Jirou's strange behavior recently and decides to try and make it better, but he'll need to ignore his large crush on Jirou first. He wants to help her as much as he can, as a friend, his worry that if he confesses is that if she friend-zones him, she might decide to ignore him meaning he can't help her. All he wants do do it make her feel better again.
