Beca didn't expect much of her senior year of high school. She had a feeling it would be the same as every other year; she'd hang out with her best friends Stacie, Jesse, and Benji, she'd slack off in class but still pass every test with flying colors, she'd be way too protective of her step sister Emily, and for the most part she'd do her best to lay low at school. Instead, Beca finds her world being flipped upside down when she meets a new student by the name of Chloe Beale.

Beca and Chloe moved in across the street from each other after graduating college. Chloe inadvertently started a Taylor Swift pun war, and Beca may have taken it a little too far, not that Chloe minded.
