How beautifully Declaration of the Rights of the Man and of the Citizen of 1789 was debunked with just the flick of the Goddess' finger. How gracefully Birthright was snatched from the Nameless for daring to come into this clean, clean Universe with their filthy, filthy blood. How dreadfully the World once again fell for pretty people and deceptive words - right into the trap of surreal slavery in ways unbeknownst to man. *** Josephine and Josette, two 'Nameless' girls, strived for their Birthright. Adopted by the Church, the Nameless children were bound to the fate of doom, torment, and experimentation. They have extra-ordinary powers: from regeneration to eidetic memory, they were experimented on to advance mankind to another level in the sphere of medicine. Josephine and Josette, rebellious by nature, decide to find out if they are truly 'Nameless' or not. But they don't find their names in the Holy Book of Nom. Now subjected to extreme punishment through sacrifice for breaking the rules; gazing into the weakness of people was treason - they must be killed without fail. However, finding out a very important piece of the puzzle, the very beginning of this tyranny against the Nameless - the Goddess, Josephine is convinced they can find 'it' in Paris, the center of France. The Goddess' Holy Name. Running away from the folks of France, wanted dead, either they shall turn their 'merciful' Goddess into a Nameless and let her experience the hell they go through, or, simply put, they die. 'Birthright' is a Retelling of Fantastical second French Revolution from the aspect of a Fantasy Setting. *** TRIGGER WARNING: Sensitive themes such as Torture, Discrimination, Sexual Division of Labor etc. Was an ONC 2021 entry born from the prompts #1 (Action/Adventure), #20 (Fantasy), #56 (Mystery & Thriller) and #66 (Paranormal)!

(Completed) A mermaid must obtain the Mermaid shell using the Shell of Siren Songs. There's a Protagonist, so there are some things that are guaranteed to work out for her, by default. There's an Antagonist, so there are some things that are meant to happen to her, by default. There's a Male Lead, so there are some things that have been thrust to him, by default. Not all Protagonists succeed even after their goal is reached. Not all Antagonists end up dying. Not all Male Leads get the spotlight. There are a lot of untold legends hidden in the Sea of Secrets. (Completed) Bermuda Triangle isn't the only location in the planet that is filled with mystery and unsolved disappearances. It is just one of the twelve 'Vile Vortices' given by a Scottish biologist, Ivan T. Sanderson. Vile Vortices are areas where electromagnetic anomalies, which are caused by the influx of mixed water temperatures, are higher and happen in frequent rates compared to the rest of the world. Bermuda Triangle happens to be the most well-known vile vortex, but eleven more vile vortices exist alongside. Including the Devil's Sea. --- Credit for all graphics: The amazing Avery (@-decepted)! Dedication: This book is also dedicated to Avery for re-igniting the spark of researching within me. --- Featured in the 'Quick Dives ~ Short Tales' reading list of the @talesofthedeep profile on 17/11/20!

A savior to her father. She was trained under ruthless conditions, which eventually turned her heart into ice - just as it had been with her Father, just as it had been for the Yami Dynasty. Self-love is always the greatest love. Nobody would risk their necks for someone else--be it for a loved one or a stranger. Not even Immortals would do so. In the end, there remains only one question everyone tries to answer at least once in their lives. Can anyone in the World really be trusted? ~ "I trusted you but now your words mean nothing because your actions spoke the truth." ~ --- This was a collection of stories for my previous version of 'Heaven', but now, it doesn't hold true anymore, so this can be considered as a few one-shots.
