When Peter's suit goes off-line during a very massive and powerful thunderstorm, Tony does the right thing and worries. A lot. Luckily, Rhodey is a good friend and goes looking for Peter, leaving behind the still injured billionaire to pace the floor of the penthouse. He doesn't have to wait long, but the state Rhodey finds his son in does nothing to ease the father's worries. In fact, it seems to make him worry even more, if that was even possible. (Hint: It is.)

An ordinary accident leaves Peter Parker an orphan once again. The worst part was nothing could have prevented it, Aunt May was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Little did Peter know that he had a godfather, and Peter was very shocked to find Tony FREAKING Stark, of all people, was filling out his adoption paper. Even more so to find out Tony already knew he was the web slinging Spider-Man... though that still only left one problem. Tony had no idea Peter was a wizard. OR Peter's just the average student wizard who loses his last remaining family member. Oddly enough his #1 no-maj idol turns out to be his godfather and soon circumstances bring him to Hogwarts along with the bizarre twist of fate that lead his name being placed in the goblet of fire. Outrage rang out through the schools as not one, but two underage wizards were picked to represent Hogwarts in the Triwizard Tournaments. Peter never expected to be held in the lime light next to the famous 'Boy Who Lived.' Tony was only just getting used to the fact that his adopted spider-son was a wizard, now he had new worries for the kid as he participated in the deadly challenges of the tournament.

Tony Stark had lost his son when he was only 2 years old, stolen away in broad daylight. Years later, his path crosses with that of a particular vigilante. They are strangers to each other, or so they think. Tony has just made it through the disaster with Ultron. He is trying to keep himself and the team together but relationships are strained and tempers are running high. Peter Parker is on top of the world. After a few shitty years, losing his parents and then losing his Uncle, things are finally looking up. Sure he lives in a crappy little apartment with his Aunt but he might have just found his mission in life. ------ This is an AU story obvious by some of the tags. I'm starting out a few weeks after Age of Ultron took place. Civil War will be a thing. Other than that I'm not too concerned about sticking to every canon detail and storyline.

Not the kind of ones one would see in Fantasia or in fairy tales or like Dr Strange, but a real wizard, with a broomstick and a wand and a position at Ilvermorney School of Magic with his best friends, Ned and Michelle. With May busy trying to handle the burden of the hole left behind by the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter takes it upon himself to get them the money they need to get their home back. By enlisting himself into the Continental Army. There, Peter meets cocky General Anthony "Iron Man" Stark, a man hanging by his last string of hope. A man, who by all titles, should not be as protective of this boy who has wondered into his camp; should not let the kid's innocent eyes and striking genius begin to thaw the ice around his heart. But he does and Tony honestly isn't sure what to think anymore. Together, they begin to forge the path to freedom for both themselves and the nation as a whole.

Peter doesn't ask for trouble, trouble just kind of finds him, stalks him like a bloodhound until it's basically his second shadow. Tony doesn't ask for stress, stress just sort of follows him around, pads after him like a puppy turned spider-baby, until he's basically Tony's second shadow.
