this story is about a girl named Aspen who when only a few weeks old her parents were deemed unfit to care for her. Since her parents are good friends with the o'Connells they trusted Maggie to adopt her. Billie was only 6 years old at the time and wanted a baby sister, so when she found out, she was super excited. Aspen grows to be best friends with Billie and Finneas. this story takes place though when Aspen is 12 and has depression plus things only get worse when girls bully Aspen allot.Billie and Finneas and her crush start to get worried for Aspen when they find out she has been cutting herself. they start to try to help but nothing seems to work. do you think they will be able to help her in time or will it all end in sadness? this book does contain cutting, selfhate, bully, and drama. I don't get into too much details about the cutting parts so this book is 12 and up?
