Kokichi Ouma is the leader of one of the most wanted organizations in Tokyo known as D.I.C.E; Shuichi Saihara is a young, but very successful detective, who is in charge of finding the boy and send him, including the members of his organization, to jail. Unfortunately, between their encounters, they start developing feelings for each other, making Shuichi's job more difficult. Monokuma was getting frustrated at the participants for not murdering one another. The bear decides to create a motive to encourage the students to commit a murder. Each student would have to relive past memories during each night until a murder occurs. Not the memories that make you smile when you reminisce. The ones that can break a person. The students being so young, have not experienced anything traumatizing. Many of the students think nothing of it. It wouldn't be too hard right? No one could possibly be hiding something from everyone else..

Shuichi Saihara, the first ever ultimate detective who is the mastermind of this whole game. His whole plan is to bring despair inside this game for the viewers to see his disgusting creation, but out of all of the seasons he had hosted there was something different about this season. Him... Kokichi Oma... the ultimate Supreme Leader who hides the truth and covers it up as a lie, or is it the other way around? He made the game a lot more entertaining than the viewers are gonna love him. Most of the time, they all just hated him. But the precious moments they got in between that hatred were special, and they couldn't deny it no matter how much they wanted to.
