"Why?" Kyzzu's voice trembled as he spoke In His language, both from anger and the tears that still streamed down his face. "Why did you do this to me?!" Winston easily sidestepped Kyzzu's attack, his expression shifting into something cold and distant. Kyzzu's strength failed him, and he nearly collapsed, his body giving way to the weight of his emotions. He was such a fool, a stupid, mindless animal that only cared for himself and some foreigner. Renzi was right the whole time. A cruel smile twisted Winston's lips as he looked down at Kyzzu. "You really took our fling too hard." he said, his tone filled with mockery. "Get this straight, little boy, You were nothing more a means of information and a way to get laid in this jungle, Kyzzu. And besides, you were the one moaning and crying under me to release inside you, is this how you usually do for the men of this village?" Kyzzu's world crumbled as Winston's words hit him like a physical blow. He had been deceived, used, and discarded, and the realization of it tore at his heart. "I trusted you!" Kyzzu cried, his voice breaking. "You made me believe-" "Believe what?" Winston cut him off, his voice icy. "That you were special? That I actually cared about you? How naive. You were just something different, something exotic to keep me entertained. And for that you were at least worth something." Kyzzu dropped to his knees, the knife slipping from his hand as he wept. The betrayal was too much to bear. The man who had once made him feel valued, who had filled him with hope and longing, was now tearing him apart with every cruel word. Winston's laughter echoed in the stillness of the night, the sound devoid of warmth. "Pathetic," he sneered. "You're just like the rest of them-weak, Naïve and foolish." *** Enticing... have a read (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

When Alistair Melek gave his life to the sea, a various degree of things changed. For starters, his love for bloodshed was exemplified. Bolder. He was drawn to the clash of a sword, blood spiling below to floorboards, like a moth drawn to a flame. And this love was damned to spread through his crew as some treacherous disease, claiming any and all who joined. But he knew this was the price he'd pay. The price for the sea itself. So when his crew completes another standard loot and pillage from a merchant ship, he allows his men a bit of fun. He liked to give them an audience, rounding up those who didn't fall victim to the blade during battle, and forcing them to beg for their lives. To prove how much they really wanted to live. Alistair had ruled the sea for some years now. Killed thousands, maybe tens of thousands. Destroyed hundreds, maybe thousands of vessels. And yet, each feeble human was all the same. There was not one man he threatened that didn't beg for their lives with all they had in them when faced with the wrong end of the sword. Each feeble human was always the same. Or so he thought. And yet, he also thought that this would be one standard job. A treat for his men after a night of good work. But this particular survivor, the one with long white hair and dead looking eyes... He wasn't a merchant. He couldn't have been. More important, there was no hesitancy when Alistair asked the fairly built man whether he wanted to live, and the man replied with a simple no.

[A/N] This is a werecat story. Bxb. Gabriel is probably not the sharpest knife in the kitchen but he knows how to make some money in a tough situation. Crime. It's not really a career so much as a lifestyle, his. It had been a long time since he'd seen anyone in any other way then how much money they carried with them or what sort of lash-backs there might be if he robbed them. One night upon walking home from his brothers flat in Halbern he saw a dark figure wander into the alleyway that happened to be a short cut to his place. The only thing he saw was the glint in the dark. He knew he was tall. He knew even looking from afar the man seemed scary, but he still went for it. Why? Because either way, every man had a neck. Oh no, Gabriel, look what you've done. You've awoken the demon of the underworld, Kerberos. Boy you messed with the wrong man.
