Kitake Kano has always done whatever it takes to survive, but at a certain point, it just isn't enough. Surviving alone isn't enough. He needs to learn how to live. With a quirk that can destroy as easily as it heals, Kitake treads the line between protector and monster - a line that his father has already crossed. He chooses the life of a hero. As he follows Izuku Midoriya on his journey to heroism, his path clashes with Katsuki Bakugo's, and their lives become forever intertwined. Kitake could change everything about himself, become someone else, but the question lingered, unanswered - Who was it he wanted to be? Notes: This is a Katsuki Bakugo x MALE OC, and it is a slow burn. Very slow. (He's going to hate him at first) This story does contain violence, body horror (I guess?), and some occasional swearing (Its Bakugo). There may or may not be SA, but I would put a warning if I did include that. There will not be warnings for violence or body horror because it will just be a continuous theme throughout the story, so if you aren't comfortable with it, my story may not be suitable for you I'm afraid. Kitake's quirk is literally body horror. There are continuous mentions of child abuse and spousal abuse, so again, read with that in mind. All kind words are appreciated.
