Luffy and Law's relationship was a weird one. They were raised together as cousins and they developed some unusual levels of confidence. But now that Luffy was a teenager things got complicated and everyday was easier going from kisses to fighting because of some stupid jealoussy. Law/Luffy.

Everyone gets marks at least once in their lifetime. It's just a matter of when. Marks can appear red, or black, the marks aren't set in stone. They're subject to change, they can disappear, change color, or even scar. A black mark means feelings on all sides are mutual, red means the love is unrequited, and well, a scar comes from a mark dying. Law is not one easily persued, he's never gotten a mark, and finds them to be, putting it frankly, a load of crap. How could some inexplainable mark on the skin determine love anyway? Luffy, on the other hand, loves so much. He's had four marks, all of which have scared. Luffy has been through a lot, he's convinced himself marks are cursed in the past. But this time he'll make sure it's different.

Law is also taken from the ship some time after Luffy comes back and is put into MarineFord to see what happened before he got there.
