During the 16th Century, Chang Kai returned from his service in the military to his small hometown in eastern China. There, he was dictated by society's standards to live out his life in comfort, find a wife, and eventually start a family----regardless if it was against his wishes. So, when he stopped in the middle of his training to aid an elderly man and when his childhood love was at the scene, Kai thought nothing of the event. He knew that she didn't recognize him and there was a low chance that either of their fathers would let them marry for love. But everything changed for him when he came home to find a peculiar box on his bed. And it definitely changed the moment he opened it. As King Noir, Kai protected his village from the evil tyrant by name of Night Viper---the manipulative villain who coaxed people into becoming his Tainted minions to aid in his quest for the other miraculouses. But Kai was not alone. With the help of the other heroes, he and the team kept the sinister man at bay. But when the team was split up and one group infiltrated Night Viper's base, they discovered his plan and realized that there was a bigger picture, all along. Tragedy ensues and it's all they can do to keep their miraculouses out of the villain's hands. Even if it's the last thing they do. ''''' I suck at summaries XD ''''' Warning: THIS IS AN ANGSTY BOOK.
