He falls in love with his best friend. Not George, but Arielle. That'd be incest if he fell in love with George, and that is greatly frowned upon. But this story has a plot besides all the love and tragedy! Arielle enters the Triwizard Tournament. And her name ends up flying out of the Goblet of Fire. But remember, this is a love story. And Fred will fall in love with Arielle and she'll love him back, and Fred will fall quickly and deeply, but events that change Arielle cause her to leave Fred falling, until he hits the ground with such force that it will scar him for the remainder of his life.

Fred and Y/n have been the best of friends since their first year. Both of them have fancied each other for a long time, but neither acted upon their feelings. *Edit* -Low key there are a few lines that are kinda cringe, also some spelling and grammar mistakes but I occasionally will go back through the story and try to fix it.
