This is my version of what would happen after episode 39. Can's unwillingness to fight for her and the reveal of what a mother is capable of in the name of a demented love. How does one carry on and live for themselves. Sanem has endured pain not known by many and still remains the The Phoenix.

This is a continuation of " If Only....I Could Forgive Myself . Can brings Sanem home from Chania to begin their fairy tale life together. They have forgiven each other and themselves, but others are destined to interfere and try to take back what was once theirs.

I really loved EK up to episode 19, after that, they made Sanem act too childish, awkward and unworthy of being a strong and intelligent woman. From then on, and especially the scene at the hut where Can lost it, I almost felt insulted that a young woman could be portrayed in such a weak and stupid way; and that she would blame herself after a man would treat her with so much violence and disrespect. I am slowly learning to like the character of Can again but mostly felt the need to write my ''dream'' version of EK after Sanem tells Can ''you have decided to leave, good bye''. I like happy ending don't worry, but Can won't have it easy!!! I own no rights over characters, and I am not a frequent writer apart from uni and work assignments/reports😊 oh and I am not a native English speaker. Yigit is not Polen's brother in this story, because it was utterly RIDICULOUS!!!! Lol
