Nicki, radiant beside her, sneaks a strawberry into Knowland's mouth, dodging his toddler arms as he tries to climb her like a jungle gym. "Easy, little man," she laughs, her voice a warm melody, but when she leans to brush lips with Beyoncé, Giselle's dramatic gag cuts through. "Y'all need a room!" Knowland whines, wedging between them, his jealous pout sparking another round of giggles. Nicki scoops him up, her eyes meeting Beyoncé's-still sparking like their first date, despite the years and eight kids. But beneath the warmth, a current hums. Jon's gaze lingers on Giselle's phone, Belle's jokes mask a restless edge, and Beyoncé feels the weight of eyes beyond their walls-social media, school, the world. Love holds this constellation of sparks together, but can it shield them when the outside tries to dim their shine?

Prologue I pouted before saying, "Bye, I love you too." Then, she hung up on me. She could've stayed on the phone with me a little bit longer, it ain't like she got anything important to do.
