Only when the Walters return Abigail 2 weeks before Christmas, does Lin take in Abigail as she is both fostered and eventually adopted by the cast of Hamilton. After Lin and the crew are supposedly done with Hamilton, they have a sort of goodbye party to their career in the theatre, at least concerning the show. Little do they know that they are not done. At all. Lin, Leslie, Daveed, Oak, and Chris get a little immature at the bar and drink a little too much Sam Adams... or something, and once they get to Lin's house to finish their little party, driven by the only sober ones, Phillipa and Anthony, they get into the props Lin had there and Daveed finds the pistol Leslie held during the duel scene and pulls the fake trigger. The aftermath may change everyone's lives for better or worse. Note: This is a fic I started on another site in 2017 and haven't updated since. I decided to put it here and continue it. Chapters 1-4 are prewritten and do not reflect my skills as of now. The writing style will shift to my current one once chapter 5 is released. I hope you enjoy.
