RoseOfEmbers
Roxanne was twenty-five, living in 2026, and reasonably certain women like Natasha Romanoff, Addison Montgomery, Teresa Lisbon, Zoe Andersen, Emily Prentiss and Miranda Priestly were supposed to remain safely on the other side of a television screen.
Then reality stopped cooperating.
An impossible sixty-metre yacht. A door that opens into other worlds. An ocean that refuses to stay inside one universe, one timeline, or even one century. And, one by one, fifteen women Roxanne already knows far too much about begin colliding with her life.
Except knowing somebody's story is not the same as knowing the woman herself.
They come from different worlds and different years. Some are police officers. Some are doctors, federal agents, witches, vampires, assassins, politicians and terrifyingly powerful women with absolutely no intention of giving up the lives they already have. Some arrive with careers, marriages, families, enemies and futures Roxanne knows were never particularly kind to them.
Fortunately, Roxanne has never been especially respectful of canon.
What begins as a collection of impossible meetings slowly becomes something much bigger: an interconnected polyamorous family, a home aboard The Isle of Sapphic, careers spanning multiple realities, two children with an alarming number of mothers, and sixteen women learning that an interdimensional yacht is significantly easier to acquire than it is to operate.
There is no single adventure waiting for them.
There are thousands.
Crime scenes. Hospitals. Magic. Vampires. Superheroes. Historical worlds. Alternate timelines. Scuba diving. Family dinners. Canon disasters Roxanne intends to prevent. Very questionable decisions involving jet skis. And the occasional domestic emergency caused by somebody stepping barefoot on Roxanne's LEGO.
The timeline is already doomed.
They might as well make a home out of it.
