Severus is hated by basically everybody. His home life is no better than his school life. He's abused and bullied. And the only thing that brings him out of the harsh reality is Lily and books. One day James is bored, walking around with none of his friends. He was the only one with a free period from the marauders so he decided to wander around. Then he found Severus curled up under a tree reading an old book. What will he do? Say something? Hurt him? Or just stand there hoping not the be noticed by the Slytherin? The Marauders go into the future with Severus and what they see suprises them. They have to show Harry the truth. Lily is not his mother but Dumbledore put a glamour on him. Harry's real parents are James Potter who is actually Harry's mother and Severus Snape who is his father. (Male Wizards can have children.) They know because they met Tom Riddle who told them about it. They have to tell Harry the truth before Dumbledore kills him and gets all his money.
