Tips & Tricks to Survive the Broom Closet: Those who hide their true magickal identities from friends & family are known as dwellers in "the broom closet". Many who work with magick and witchcraft feel the need to constantly hide their practices, often keeping this way of life a precious secret for many years - even a whole lifetime. While it's always better to be out of the closet, for those who can't find a way out this is the Book of Shadows you need. This is my personal book of shadows, which means it starts with the very basic information for beginners, all the way up to the lesser known, more complex practices that I know about. In it, I provide links to useful articles and websites so you can conduct more in-depth research of your own. Along the way I also provide some helpful information on surviving and thriving in the broom closet. I hope it can be of use to you. Blessed be.

This guide covers the basics of witchcraft: practices, rituals, beliefs, magic, items. It is mostly directed toward beginners but anyone can benefit from it. Everything is explained clearly and definitions of possibly confusing or unfamiliar words are given in the beginning of each chapter. This is a book for someone who wants to know what witchcraft is and wants to be part of it, not someone who just wants to do some spells at midnight. There is nothing dangerous included in this guide. If you are looking for black magic this guide is not for you. Sources I used as inspiration are provided at the end of each chapter.

It seems that whenever you search 'Wicca' on Wattpad, it's just a bunch of books about spells and not the religion itself.
