In order to protect her planned future, she must gain help from a stubborn vigilante. ~ My name is Stevie Jones, and I live in Havenbrook City. Population: 7-8 million. Crime Rate: very high. We have Deviates to thank for that. What are Deviates? Evil, violent vagrants with unfathomable abilities who terrorize our streets every night. "I'll save you from the pirates." Katara ran into the back of his chest. She mentally cursed herself. She quickly bent some water to freeze on the fire prince's feet. It bought her just barely enough time to bend water to carry her away. Then the water began bending back towards the shore. One of the pirates was a water bender. They pulled me under and wouldn't allow me to take a breath of air, they crashed my body against the rocks several times before finally allowing me up. When I broke through the surface I took a deep breath. Zuko reached in and dragged me out, tying me to a tree. "Where's the Avatar?" He asked. And that's where it all began..... Under Editing!

"Aren't you scared?" Isaiah seemed genuinely floored when I didn't flinch away from him. "Of you?" I scoffed, "No." "You should be," he smirked, "I could snap your pretty little neck anytime, darling." "Get in line, darling." I threw his stupid nickname back in his face. "Why are you even here to begin with? You're nothing more than a tasty snack." He flashed his fangs and took a step towards me. His eyes lingered on me for a second too long. "I'm here to clean up the mess that your family is making all because of some stupid rivalry." "Did you really think we came here for 'some stupid rivalry'?" He took another step. My back hit the counter as he cornered me. "No, we plan to conquer your pathetic little town until there's nothing left of it." "You don't have to kill people for power. You're immortal, what more could you possibly want?" He smirked and I didn't think I'd ever loathed anyone more in my entire life. "Oh darling, you don't know anything."

A young elf takes up the task of hunting down a band of orc trespassers with the help of her centaur brother. When she stumbles into a pitfall, Meren finds an object: an amulet that gives strange new powers. Little does she know that an increasingly desperate young wizard is looking for the very same amulet and that their paths are destined to crisscross in a weave of chaotic magic... (This is a novella I wrote in '11 and it's one of my very first stories. My writing style has changed a lot since then, but I'm sharing this with some minor editing because it's the story that gave me a love of writing and for that it'll always hold a special place in my heart. This is unconnected to the other stories I'll share to my Wattpad and takes place in a different fantasy world.)
