When an enigmatic boy and a girl carrying several knives arrive, knowing something about Rowan's past that no one should, Rowan must make a choice. Stay safe in the shadows and keep himself locked away, or venture after them and risk upending everything he's worked so long to keep buried? When a murder occurs aboard the spaceship The Red Lacuna, the once crime free haven that is home to one thousand people becomes a place filled with uncertainty, suspicion and change. Nobody knows why it has happened, or who did it, but the truth is further blurred by the fact that not only are the humans under suspicion; so are the demon's that co-inhabit the ship down on the lower decks. As more murders start to crop up, it soon becomes a race against time to put a stop to it. As Rachel tries her best to operate in a new world that she does not feel welcome in, it soon becomes apparent that people she once thought were gone may not be after all. The question is, who is doing the killing? Is it fellow man? Is it a demon? Or is it something else? One third Sci-Fi, One third Horror and One third romance, Red Lacuna will offer a deep insight into the differing outlooks on life to those in space. NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to read my first public book "Red Lacuna". It means so much for people to click to read and I really hope that you like what is inside. I have big plans for this book and really want it to be a wild ride. As a huge horror/sci-Fi fan, I wanted to write something that fell inbetween but I also wanted to make sure that there was an element of love at the heart of it as love is a part of every story, somewhere. There are bad words. It is gory. It is meant to invoke fear but at the crux of it all, I want it to create opinion so please do leave me feedback because I want to improve as a writer and create a story that people can continue to see development in. Thank you <3
