Due to unknown reasons, Sophie Foster has just woken up in Book 1 at the museum with all her memories still intact. Now as a 12-year-old, Sophie must figure out how to make everything go right this time and try to stop the Neverseen in the process. This fanfiction was started in late 2018, right before Flashback was published. Please keep in mind that some of the ideas will reflect this. Everything in this fanfiction takes place before Legacy to avoid any confusion. Some ideas, wording, and dialogue are taken straight from Shannon Messenger's Keeper of the Lost Cities in order to make the plotline make sense. All rights for characters and general plot belong to Shannon Messenger.

SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU HAVEN'T READ UNLOCKED (BOOK 8.5) YET... DO NOT READ THIS AS IT CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS! Anyway, this is my version of book 9. This story is a continuation from Unlocked's BRUTAL ending. It's written only from Sophie's POV just like the first 8 books. Hope you enjoy :) Note: All characters belong to Shannon Messenger

What truly happened between Jolie Ruewen and Brant, an unexplored tragedy. It started with a spark, it grew into a blaze, all that's left is ashes. "Sing swan, Spring swan then lets fly. Follow the pretty bird across the sky. Call swan, Fall swan, then lets rest. Tucked in the branches of your quiet nest."
