The zodiacs are accepted into one of the world's number one high schools, Imperial High. Some got in with a scholarship, while some just barely passed the entrance exam. When they all get sorted into the same dorm tower, things get a little crazy. Burrito fights break out, Gemini adopts a duck, Capricorn loses his sanity, Aries outsmarts Virgo, Leo and Libra go on a shopping spree and drags Aquarius along with them, Cancer convinces Scorpio to bake cookies, and Sag can't seem to finish his essay on time. So where are Taurus and Pisces you may ask? Well, they're watching everything unfold (with popcorn of course).

An era of matriarchy has risen. Women are now at the top of the hierarchy, selected as powerful leaders who should show no fear or any vulnerability. The land has been separated into four distinct parts as a result of a bloody war as each kingdom fought for their rights and territory. Some kingdoms are more destructive while others work to achieve peace between allies. The four kingdoms: Valusia, the land of shadows. The most terrifying of places ruled by an equally terrifying ruler. Nobody wishes to live there but once you're in you're not allowed out. Helios, the land of the sun, a place of prosperity and higher class women. Scholars and women studying toward higher education often go there to achieve their dreams. Ardeosa, the land that harnesses the earth. A peaceful place filled with fauna and faeries, a land rich with rare plants and minerals is often used as a place to gather ingredients for healing and absorb magic. Lastly, not a kingdom but a city, the city of Caspian- a city beyond the ocean. A highly isolated place due to pirates, rogues, and thieves. They are highly skilled in manipulation and are known to pillage innocent villages and attempt to overthrow kingdoms.

There 12 Zodiacs. They've been sent to Earth as its guardians, and must live human lives before they can. Before they left though, they lived with their siblings in the sky. Unfortunately, the trip to Earth wiped their memories and they have forgotten about them. Their siblings however, have not, and patiently wait for them to come home...

Well, because apparently, his ancestor was ridiculed and kicked out of the being a Zodiac. Talk about holding a grudge, am I right? A teacher leads them away from their boarding school, their normal lives and everything they know. Leads them to a large cabin in the woods. She tells them that they're magical and have powers. Okay, What? Apparently, they are the only ones who can defeat him. That's where the big question comes in: Can they actually defeat him? But, I mean, who believes they have powers right.
