What we think is too far off our neatly paved path to become a reality, usually isn't that far off... (**POSSIBLE TRIGGER WARNING**) I wrote this as an extra credit assignment, taking inspiration from some things that I've experienced/witnessed lately. As if anyone is actually reading this, I'm currently pretty fed up with the the world and how it's treating some of the best people in it... Anyways, please tell me if you like my story! Or if you hate it. I don't really care which as long as you talk to me.

All I remember was falling. Falling through nothing, darkness, blackness. I remember falling for ages, maybe even years. There seemed to be no end to the endless tumbling through the seemingly infinite void. I remember trying to scream, but no sound could escape my lips. Then I remember something very large hurling towards me at incredible speeds. I remember putting up my arms to my face to brace myself. Then I remember an explosion of feelings and pain. Love, hate, sadness, happiness, joy, anger. All at once they filled my head. It felt as if my body was being torn apart in every direction, but at the same time being squeezed into a space the size of an atom. And then I remember all of it abruptly stopping.
