In the heart of Japan in a land called Shōrinkyō, nine legendary warriors known as the Hashira-Rengoku Kyōjurō, Tomioka Giyu, Kochō Kanae, Shinazugawa Sanemi, Iguro Obanai, Himejima Gyomei, Tokito Muichirō, Kanroji Mitsuri, and Uzui Tengen-stand as the eternal guardians of their homeland. For centuries, they have protected their people from threats both mortal and supernatural, bound by duty, strength, and unshakable resolve. Far across the seas lies Setsugenkyō, a hidden kingdom of eternal ice and snow. Ruled by the enigmatic and powerful Queen Shirayuki, the frozen empire harbors dreams of expansion beyond its borders. At her side is her most trusted general and daughter, Shinobu, known as Chō-no-Kami, the Butterfly Goddess of War. Trained from her youth and forged in countless battles, Shinobu commands loyalty and fear alike, her elegance masking a steel-like will. When Queen Shirayuki sets her sights on Shōrinkyō, her icy armies sweep across the land, seizing territory with ruthless precision. For the first time in generations, the Hashira face not demons but a kingdom of men and magic determined to erase their sovereignty. Outnumbered but unbroken, they vow to reclaim their homeland at any cost. Yet fate twists unexpectedly when Tomioka Giyu crosses paths with Chō-no-Kami. Beneath her cold exterior, he senses a hidden light, a fragment of goodness that the queen's conquest has long suppressed. As battle lines are drawn, Shinobu herself begins to question the truth of her identity, the path she has walked, and the queen she serves. Now, Japan's survival rests not only on the might of the Hashira but also on whether Chō-no-Kami will remain a weapon of the Ice Queen, or awaken as the key to freedom.

A single night of uncharacteristic celebration leaves the Water and Insect Hashira facing a staggering, awkward reality. Bound by a mutual, silent pact to pretend the mistake never happened, Giyu Tomioka and Shinobu Kocho return to their duties, determined to carry the secret to their graves. But when the hidden consequences of that night force Shinobu to make a shocking decision-abandoning her lifelong pursuit of vengeance to abruptly retire from the Demon Slayer Corps-the quiet dynamic between them is permanently shattered. Bound by a fierce sense of duty and mutual responsibility, Giyu steps forward to share the burden of her new reality. Moving into a secluded estate far from the front lines, they establish a cold, practical arrangement to navigate an uncertain future together. (I do not own any of these characters all ownership goes to there respective owners!) GIYUSHINO AU BASED OF GIYU'S GAIDEN I won't lie this one starts off kinda slow but when a series of mysterious disappearances draws two Hashira to a snowbound mountain village, Giyu Tomioka and Shinobu Kocho find themselves working together on a case that seems far more complicated than an ordinary demon hunt. As the investigation uncovers forgotten memories, lingering regrets, and impossible truths, the distance between the Water and Insect Hashira begins to slowly disappear. What starts as a faithful mission soon becomes a story of trust, sacrifice, healing, and a love neither of them expected to find.

{THIS IS MY FIRST STORY!! So its not as fancy decorated like others!!😭 but I will work on it as I make more chapters!!} and I deeply apologize if the characters do not act their canon personalities to me they are really unpredictable😓 This is also my own AU! So some things slightly might not be canon accurate!! Chapters may be short but I'm trying my best😞 ... As Giyu and Shinobu spent more time together, their connection developed into a comfortable camaraderie. Awkwardness faded, replaced by quiet conversations beneath the stars and lingering smiles. Giyu admired Shinobu's vibrant spirit and dedication, while she appreciated his calm demeanor and protective instincts. Their playful teasing filled the halls of the Demon Slayer Corps with laughter and warmth. Facing challenges together, they built trust and intimacy, ultimately acknowledging the deeper feelings that blossomed between them, drawing them closer as a couple. 💜
