A sigth Giyushino au in where shinobu has to leave for a long mission with Kanao, aoi is sent of to a mission as well since she finally built the courage to take the mantel of demon slayer. Wich makes Oyakata take the decision to send Giyu to the butterfly estate and babysit the butterfly girls despite never really interacting with them. Slowly but surely Giyu starts getting accustomed to living with them as well as starting to realize his feelings towards a certain insect hashira.

Giyu was finally enjoying his life demons were gone, he had friends and even looked forward to each day. However, the peaceful live came at an cost all those sacrfices from his comrades and his own life span. He couldn't help but wonder if they could have done something different so all those people didn't have to die. He didn't expect his wish to be granted by a eavesdropping God. However, his new surroundings were both familiar and so foreign at the same time.
