But everyone saw maniac that mercilessly killed innocent lives. All I saw... was a human being. A broken human being. I couldn't help but notice... that he seemed so familiar, even though we had just met a month ago. I bit my lip, as my knees started to wobble. "Jim-..-" His hands traced up my neck to cup my face. Flustered, my hand shot up to his chest to push him away.... But I hesitated. He started to lean closer. I fiddled with my hands, as I realised I might not be able to stop him. Soon he was millimeters from my lips. But he stopped. He exhaled and bit his lip, as though he had snapped out of it. I heard him counting. It was a practice we had taught all the patients to do whenever they felt anxious or impulsive. His forehead hit mine. "Three.... " "Two....." "One...." He removed his hand from my cheek and pulled away, as I felt the warmth of his presence disappear. A part of me was resisting. I clenched my fist, as I felt myself grab his shirt, as I pulled him back in, his body hitting mine. "I..." I exhaled, but no words escaped my mouth. I was too late. She was abandoned by her parents and was cursed with the ability to see ghosts and be able to physically interact with them at the age of 7. She vaguely remembers the night her parents left her and is unaware a dangerous demon is after her because of them. She was afraid to let people in after being abandoned once but she grew fond of two dorks until one of them died saving her from a near death accident and became a ghost. Now she lives with a protective brother-like man who treats her like a baby and an annoying ghost who likes to mess around with her. She is both grateful and sorry to both of them at the same time and they know it. She taught herself everything she needed to know as she grew up but was encouraged (forced) to pursue a higher education. There she met Park Jimin, a charming guy with a beautiful smile who made her uncomfortable from the first time they met. His aura is so pure that weak sprits and weak demons are instantly repelled but strong spirits and strong demons are attracted to him. He is very accident-prone, like Chaeyoung, due to this reason but is never majorly harmed due to a strong protection barrier that was placed on him. Chaeyoung is the only person in the university who he knows nothing about. He wants to know why she keeps running away from him every time she sees him. After Chaeyoung gets herself into multiple unnatural accidents he can't take it anymore. He wants answers but when Chaeyoung refuses to even look at him, in the most pleading voice he says "let me help you." This is my first story so sorry if it sounds boring!
