Piper, Aaron and Vic are just three teens, trying to make their way in the world. Well, more or less. But being on the run because they were infamous bank robbers can be tiresome, and stressful. That is, until the possibility of their arrest arises when the attractive Detective Andrews comes into the picture. And a mobster by the name of Angelo worms his way into the plans. Torn between her long time beau, and the mysterious and alluring detective, Piper is more doubtful and confused than ever. Will love truly conquer all, or will all three teens fall to the feet of the law? Only so much is expected for three renegade robbers.

Firstly, it was just the prisoners that were used. Then it became orphans, and even some of the elderly. Now it is everyone in a society where people are struggling to find work. Money is offered to anyone willing to volunteer themselves or their children to take part in scientific trials run by the organisation called Calox. Except no one ever gets the money. No one is ever seen again once they've volunteered for the trials. (This is the first book in the 'Children of Calox' series. 'Flames' is the sequel, and therefore the second book in the series. I plan to write between three and five books in total.)

*In major construction. Do not read unless you do not want to read the ending for a very long time until I get things figured out. Thanks!* I was just a hacker. Your average, seventeen-year-old, very sarcastic hacker. Well, average if you thought average meant living with your fried chicken obsessed uncle after your ex-secret agent parents mysteriously disappeared off the face of the Earth. Until that day. A simple business card from an odd boy claiming he needed a hacker for something of the utmost importance. Now? I’m working with the son of the director of the FBI to figure out who wants his father—and possibly us—dead. Not to mention not getting caught and totally not falling for him all while still trying to figure out where my parents are. As I said, nothing good could come of this.
