She doesn't come back until after the Undertaking that took her brother's life and sees her friends and Oliver again. Her return causes some bumps on the road, with Laurel blaming for knowing about Oliver and Sara sleeping together, and Oliver still not over the fact that she is still alive and didn't tell anyone about her whereabouts. Oliver finds out that she is a part of the League of Assassins and is trying to leave all that behind, but you can't exactly leave without them dying, or they are hunted and returned alive or dead. Oliver and Kara connected emotionally, and it caused feelings to emerge that Laurel didn't like when she arrived at dinner with her ex-boyfriend.
