Upon losing the Kalos league Ash returns home to find a site he didn't expect, most of his prior traveling companions betraying him. With his girlfriend Serena and his Pokemon by his side and knowing his mother still believes in him, he leaves to the Aloha region. Five years later the world champ decides he's ready to retire and a tournament is being held in the Aloha region to decide the new world champion. Ash, now the Aloha champion, will compete to become the next world champion, as well as get some payback against those who betrayed him, and those who made his mother suffer just to get to him. Ash takes this offer and trains his Pokemon for 2 years. Now he is ready to journey out again, this time to Kalos. What will he find in Kalos, will he finally be able to achieve his dreams? And will he find something or someone that he didn't know he was missing when he finds a certain honey blonde.
