"This is The Island, a prison designed for minors like me- too young to be executed, too old to be reformed, and too much of a stain on humanity to let exist. It was 'the answer' to the growing crime rate resulting from a world that was falling apart. The details evade me, but there is one thing I know. The water doesn't seem as scary as it did before." When Jordyn wakes up in the middle of a tropical forest in the mouth of a cat too big to be real, she decides this isn't how she wants to die. The Island has other plans, though. It was designed to kill her, and it will bring out every gun in the arsenal to do so. Her life becomes a game of survival from the mutant and venomous animals, severe temperature changes, and impossible weather scenarios that exist in this government manufactured prison. The twist? She has no idea who she is, where she came from, or why she committed first-degree arson. In this mixture of "The Hunger Games" and "Maze Runner", Jordyn has to unravel the truth before nature kills her- or die not knowing. Highest Ranking: #45 in Science Fiction **2nd Place Winner of the 2017 Rose Awards** **Featured as a Wattpad Pick on 11/8/19**

My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal. What was I then? For that, I had no answer [[Word count: 495,000]] Copyright August 2016. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. Highest Rank: #11 in Science Fiction I am a seventeen year old named Anonymous. I do not know my real name or my past because my brain was wiped clean. Along with other amnesiac teenagers, I was taken to an academy and all I had to do was sleep, dream, and repeat. The dreams I and the other "Awakened ones" had, were submitted into a dream log in order for us to compete to become "Username 1." Thinking the number 1 was the lowest we could get, we would shed sweat and blood to achieve this title. Becoming Username 1 not only made you a leader of your fellow dreamers, but it also let you move onto the next level of becoming an Elite. *Some chapters will be based on actual dreams* Cover by @lumierutsuki
